Megan Wilde lives up to her name by bringing raucous soul alive in her aptly titled debut EP, Wildfire.
Nicknamed “Baby Blues,” the Chicago born, Seattle based, singer-songwriter, drew from legendary influences — Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and Etta James — to create her own “scorching modern blues,” which, in the debut track, has a bit of a country twist. Today, the Winehouse is thrilled to premiere the official video for “Runaway Romeo,” the debut single from her forthcoming EP.
In the Bonnie & Clyde-esque video — composed, produced and performed by this incredibly multi-talented performer — Megan hits the road with her hot man, in a hot car, and makes trouble sound, and look, fabulous. Check her out!
And make sure to check out her Wildfire EP, which drops tomorrow (May 19th, 2015).
