American soul singer Carleen Anderson, the daughter of Vicki Anderson (best known for working with James Brown), has enjoyed huge success in the UK. In Amy Winehouse – The Day She Came to Dingle, Winehouse discussed her profound admiration for the singer.

“For live performances you have to see Carleen Anderson at least 3 times in your life. You have to!” said Winehouse, visibly in awe. “She’s someone I would sit around the venue all day just to hear her sound check. She did a version of ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ and I was just crying.”

Check out the song that left Winehouse in tears, “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
